24 | Controllers | Things that can generate the specific timings & packet formats needed to drive many addressible LEDs. Controllers usually can hold and repeat at least one frame. |
25 | Pixels | Addressible LEDs. The innovation that enabled this world of wonder. |
26 | Pixel ICs | The main chip usually embeded into Pixels as a standalone component. Should not include LEDs. |
27 | Pixel Decoders | Devices that are not meant for driving pixels directly but are capable of sharing the same standard communication standards that addressable pixels use. |
28 | Level Converters | Dumb memory-less devices that translate to pixel data from another format |
29 | Adapters | Someting that aids the hardware compatibility between some (usually commodity) "controller" hardware and the light strings/panels. Likely cannot hold a frame on its own. |
30 | DIY MicroBoards | Useful microprocessors boards that can (usually) be used directly with certain pixel types. Pairing with an "adapter" is common. |

32 | Drive Libraries | Software to turn off the shelf or commodity hardware into "controllers". |
